The agriculture section ranks the world's producers of crops, meat, dairy, fish and other farm goods, from wheat, rice and maize to cocoa, coffee, honey and wool. Most charts use FAOSTAT, the statistics database of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. The fish and seaweed charts come from its Fisheries and Aquaculture Division.
The United States produced the most beef in 2024, 12.29 million tonnes, ahead of Brazil with 10.24 million. China leads honey production with 444,800 tonnes, about three times India's 146,000, and farms 81.9 million tonnes of fish and other aquatic animals, more than five times Indonesia. Brazil grows 15.69 million tonnes of oranges a year, about twice as many as China.
The main crops, such as wheat, rice, maize, soybeans and coffee, appear for more than one year, so you can compare the latest harvest with earlier ones.
This page collects 63 interactive agriculture
datasets in one place — useful for research, articles, presentations,
and quick fact-checks. Instead of static images, each chart is fully interactive: hover any data
point to read the exact value, switch chart types with a single click, and compare categories or
years side by side.
Every agriculture chart includes a written analysis, the key findings,
category rankings, how the figures were calculated, and a link to the original data source
where available. All of it is free, with
