Luka Dončić won the 2025-26 NBA scoring title with 33.5 points per game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won the MVP award, and the New York Knicks won the championship after finishing third in the Eastern Conference. Five new charts, built from Basketball-Reference's season statistics, show the regular-season leaders. For last year's baseball season, see our MLB 2025 post.
Dončić outscored everyone, Jokić did everything
The scoring leaders chart has Dončić 2.4 points per game ahead of Gilgeous-Alexander's 31.1. Nikola Jokić led both the rebounding chart, with 12.9, and the assists chart, with 10.7, while scoring 27.7 points: he was the only qualified player to average a triple-double. Victor Wembanyama added 11.5 rebounds and a league-leading 3.1 blocks.
A rookie led the league in three-pointers
Charlotte's Kon Knueppel made 273 three-pointers, one more than his teammate LaMelo Ball, to top the three-point chart. According to Wikipedia he broke the NBA record for three-pointers by a rookie in February; the rookie of the year award went to Dallas's Cooper Flagg.
Oklahoma City had the best record, New York the title
In the team wins chart, Oklahoma City went 64-18, San Antonio 62-20 and Detroit 60-22, while Washington won only 17 games. The Knicks, at 53-29, beat the Spurs in the Finals, and Jalen Brunson was Finals MVP.

Who is left out
The per-game charts only include players who appeared in at least 58 of 82 games, the cut-off Basketball-Reference uses for its leader lists. That excludes Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid and Stephen Curry, who all averaged more than 26 points but missed too many games. All 30 team records match the standings in Wikipedia's article on the season.
