Cryptocurrencies Furthest Below Their All-Time High 2026
About This Dataset
Cryptocurrencies Furthest Below Their All-Time High 2026How the data is collected. CoinGecko publishes the arithmetic it uses: the drop since the all-time high is the peak price minus the current price, divided by the peak price. Both ends are the site's own aggregated dollar price rather than any single venue's quote, so the peak is the highest aggregate it has recorded since the coin was listed there, and nothing before that listing can appear in the figure.
Background. The dates cluster in a single cycle. Nine of these peaks fall in 2021, two in 2017, and the remaining four in 2019, 2023, 2024 and 2025. The newest is Pi Network's 2.99 dollars on 26 February 2025; the oldest is Dash's 1,493.59 dollars on 19 December 2017, the same day Bitcoin Cash reached 3,785.82 dollars. Bitcoin is not on this list: its record of 126,080 dollars dates from 6 October 2025 and it was 35.7 per cent below that mark.
Limits. Eleven of these peaks can be compared with Binance's own daily highs for the same dates, and ten of the eleven match CoinGecko within eight per cent. The exception is Internet Computer, where the exchange's high in the token's first days of trading was about four times the aggregated peak, which would make the fall deeper still. The 2017 records for Dash and Bitcoin Cash pre-date those pairs' dollar histories on Binance, and Pi Network and Cronos do not trade there at all.
The top of this list is almost a flat line: the first twelve entries are all more than 94 per cent below their record, and Filecoin and Internet Computer, at 99.6 and 99.58 per cent, differ by less than a tenth of a point. In cash terms the falls are steep, from 700.65 dollars to 2.91 for Internet Computer and from 236.84 to 0.95 for Filecoin. Ten of the fifteen still rank inside the top eighty by market value, and three of them sit inside the top forty: Shiba Inu in 35th place, Cronos in 37th and Bitcoin Cash in 23rd, each trading more than 93 per cent below its peak.
