What this chart shows. The twenty articles Spanish Wikipedia readers opened most often across 2025. Spanish is the sixth most-viewed edition of the encyclopedia, and unlike the English list this ranking is not published by anyone: it is counted here from Wikimedia pageview data using the screening rules the Foundation and Wikipedia volunteers apply to their own annual lists.

How the data is collected. Each candidate article was measured over the twelve months of 2025 on every device type, counting only requests classified as human. Views arriving under a different title were added to the article they lead to, which contributes 2,699,242 views across these twenty entries, and pages outside the encyclopedia proper, such as the front page and the search box, were left out.

Background. Two published cutoffs decide what counts as a real reader. The Wikimedia Foundation removes pages whose desktop share sits below 2 percent or above 80 percent; the volunteers behind the annual Top 50 Report also drop anything above 94 percent mobile, which is a desktop share under 6 percent. Applying both removed, among others, an Argentine radio station on 15,733,230 views with a desktop share of 0.6 percent, the domain suffix .aero on 7,001,970 views that were 100.0 percent desktop, and a page about Cleopatra I of Egypt on 3,260,295 views at 0.4 percent desktop.

Limits. The Foundation also discards articles about large websites, because many of those visits come from people trying to reach the site itself rather than read about it; that rule removes ChatGPT on 4,498,003 views, YouTube on 2,481,062 and Pornhub on 1,505,081 from this ranking. Running the same method over English returned all twenty-five of the articles the Foundation published there, although MrBeast cleared the bar only once the 4,536,869 views held by his alternative titles were added to the 7,472,858 on the article itself. Read this order as close to an official one rather than as the official one.
