MLB Team Wins in the 2025 Regular Season
What this chart shows. Regular-season wins for all 30 Major League Baseball teams in 2025, each of which played 162 games. The Milwaukee Brewers had the best record at 97-65, one win ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies at 96-66. The Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees both won 94 games in the American League East, and the Colorado Rockies finished last with 43 wins and 119 losses.
How the data is collected. Win and loss totals come from the standings endpoint of MLB's official Stats API. Every team's record matches the six division tables on Wikipedia's page for the season, and as a check on the whole table, the 30 teams' 2,430 wins equal their 2,430 losses.
Background. The season page on Wikipedia records that the World Series ended on November 1, when the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays in seven games for the ninth title in the franchise's history. The Dodgers had won 93 regular-season games, the fifth-highest total in the majors, so the champion did not have the best regular-season record.
Limits. Wins show results, not the margin behind them, and this chart counts the regular season only, so no postseason games are included. Eight teams won 90 games or more, and 17 finished at .500 or better; the Texas Rangers and San Francisco Giants were exactly 81-81.

Analysis
The Brewers won 54 more games than the Rockies, whose 43 wins give a winning percentage of .265. The National League Central had both the Brewers and the Chicago Cubs, who won 92, while the American League Central champion, the Cleveland Guardians, won 88. The Chicago White Sox lost 102 games, the only other team with more than 100 losses.
