Analysis

China (641.7), Russia (136.7) and Indonesia (74.0) take the top three. Across the twenty shown, values run from 641.7 down to 11.2, a spread of 630.5. Most of that spread sits between first and second alone (505.0 of 630.5), so China stands apart from the rest of the table. No other country in the table reaches half the leading figure of 641.7. The chart shows the twenty highest of 101 reporting countries, so it describes the top of the distribution rather than the world average.
