Countries ranked by employment in agriculture (% of jobs) in 2025, using World Bank figures for the 182 countries that reported that year. Burundi leads on 85.34, ahead of Mozambique (73.01) and Niger (72.99). The share of employment in agriculture, forestry and fishing, modelled by the ILO. Subsistence farming counts as employment, which is why the ranking is led by low-income countries rather than by big agricultural exporters.
