The world's tallest statues ranked by total height in metres including the base and pedestal. The Statue of Unity in Gujarat, India — a tribute to independence leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — is the world's tallest statue by a significant margin at 182 metres, surpassing the Spring Temple Buddha in China upon its completion in October 2018. Its height is nearly twice that of the Statue of Liberty.
