Most Formula 1 Grand Prix Podium Finishes by Driver 2025

What this chart shows. The nine drivers who finished in the top three of at least one of the twenty-four Grands Prix of 2025. Lando Norris reached the podium 18 times, three quarters of the season, ahead of Oscar Piastri on 16 and Max Verstappen on 15. The twenty-four races produced 72 podium places, and the first three drivers on the list took 49 of them.

How the data is collected. Each Grand Prix result in the Jolpica database carries the finishing position and a status, and a podium here is a recorded finishing position of first, second or third. Sprint results are held separately and are not included. Where a driver was disqualified, the result is recorded with a status of disqualified rather than a finishing position on the podium, so the places behind move up.

Background. The clearest example came in Las Vegas, where Norris and Piastri were both disqualified and the podium is recorded as Max Verstappen, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Four drivers won a Grand Prix: Verstappen 8, Norris and Piastri 7 each and George Russell 2, while five of the nine podium drivers never won. The six sprints, held at the Chinese, Miami, Belgian, United States, São Paulo and Qatar Grands Prix, gave out a further set of top-three places.

Limits. Grand Prix podiums only: Lewis Hamilton, sixth in the championship, has no podium here although he finished in the top three of the sprints at the Chinese and Miami Grands Prix, winning one. The twenty-four winners agree with Wikipedia's table of the season's races, but second and third places are taken from Jolpica alone.
