Busiest Spaceports by Orbital Launches 2021
About This Dataset
Busiest Spaceports by Orbital Launches 2021
Orbital launch attempts flown from each spaceport during 2021, successful or not. A launch is credited to the pad it lifted off from, so sites shared by several operators pool their flights. Suborbital launches, which many of these sites also host, are not counted.
Analysis
Jiuquan hosted 22 orbital launches in 2021, 15.2% of the 145 flown worldwide, ahead of Cape Canaveral on 19.
