Busiest Spaceports by Orbital Launches 2022
Orbital launch attempts flown from each spaceport during 2022, successful or not. A launch is credited to the pad it lifted off from, so sites shared by several operators pool their flights. Suborbital launches, which many of these sites also host, are not counted.
Analysis
Cape Canaveral hosted 38 orbital launches in 2022, 20.4% of the 186 flown worldwide, ahead of Jiuquan on 25. The 12 busiest sites handled 174 launches, 93.5% of the year's total. 3 of them are in the United States and 4 in China. The smallest entry on the chart, Satish Dhawan, flew 5.
