Busiest Spaceports by Orbital Launches 2023
Orbital launch attempts flown from each spaceport during 2023, successful or not. A launch is credited to the pad it lifted off from, so sites shared by several operators pool their flights. Suborbital launches, which many of these sites also host, are not counted.
Analysis
Cape Canaveral hosted 59 orbital launches in 2023, 26.5% of the 223 flown worldwide, ahead of Jiuquan on 36. The 16 busiest sites handled 211 launches, 94.6% of the year's total. 4 of them are in the United States and 4 in China. The smallest entry on the chart, Vostochny, flew 3.
