Busiest Spaceports by Orbital Launches 2024
Orbital launch attempts flown from each spaceport during 2024, successful or not. A launch is credited to the pad it lifted off from, so sites shared by several operators pool their flights. Suborbital launches, which many of these sites also host, are not counted.
Analysis
Cape Canaveral hosted 67 orbital launches in 2024, 25.7% of the 261 flown worldwide, ahead of Vandenberg on 47. The 12 busiest sites handled 238 launches, 91.2% of the year's total. 3 of them are in the United States and 4 in China. The smallest entry on the chart, Tanegashima, flew 5.
