Most-Launched Rockets of 2024
About This Dataset
Most-Launched Rockets of 2024
Orbital launches flown by each rocket type in 2024, counting attempts rather than successes. Variants that carry their own designation are listed separately, so the individual Long March numbers appear on their own lines instead of as one family entry.
Analysis
Falcon 9 flew 134 times in 2024, 51.3% of the 261 orbital launches attempted worldwide and 7.4 times as often as Long March 2 on 18. The 14 rockets here account for 229 launches, 87.7% of the year. 9 of them are Chinese, 2 American and 1 Russian. Behind the leader the chart is flat: every other rocket on it flew between 3 and 18 times.
