Countries ranked by inflation, consumer prices (% a year) in 2025, using World Bank figures for the 165 countries that reported that year. Iran leads on 42.17, ahead of Turkey (34.88) and Burundi (34.13). The annual change in the average price of a basket of consumer goods. Where a currency collapses the official index can understate what shoppers pay, and a few countries stop publishing during a crisis.
