About This Dataset

Countries That Use the Most Electricity per Person 2023
Countries ranked by electricity use (kWh per person) in 2023, using World Bank figures for the 107 countries that reported that year. Bahrain leads on 23,120, ahead of Qatar (19,963) and Kuwait (16,496). Electricity consumed per person, including losses in transmission. Industry is counted alongside households, so countries with aluminium smelting or data centres rank far above their household use.
