Countries ranked by renewable share of electricity (%) in 2021, using World Bank figures for the 204 countries that reported that year. Bhutan leads on 100.0, ahead of Lesotho (99.79) and Costa Rica (99.37). The share of electricity generated from renewable sources, which for several leaders is almost entirely hydropower. It covers electricity only, not heating or transport fuel.
