Countries ranked by alcohol consumption (litres per adult) in 2020, using World Bank figures for the 185 countries that reported that year. Romania leads on 16.80, ahead of Georgia (14.41) and Latvia (12.87). Measured in litres of pure alcohol per person aged 15 and over, including alcohol bought by visitors. Unrecorded home production is estimated separately and is not counted here.
