About This Dataset
Largest Brewing Companies by Production VolumeAnheuser-Busch InBev is by far the largest brewer in the world, producing about 495.5 million hectolitres in 2024, more than double the output of its nearest rival. The Belgian-based giant, owner of brands including Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona, controls close to 27 percent of global beer production on its own. Heineken is a distant second at 240.7 million hectolitres, while China Resources Snow Breweries, whose Snow brand is the single best-selling beer in the world, ranks third at 108.8 million. Together these three companies brew over 845 million hectolitres, more than half the total of the world's top 40 brewers. The scale of AB InBev's lead illustrates how heavily consolidated the global beer industry has become, with a handful of multinational groups dominating production worldwide.
