The 20 countries where income from natural resources makes up the largest share of GDP in 2021. Libya is most dependent at 61.03% of GDP, ahead of Iraq at 43.45% and DR Congo at 38.83%. Resource rents cover oil, gas, coal, minerals and forests. 2021 is the most recent year the World Bank publishes with broad coverage, at 179 countries.
