About This Dataset
Largest Polished Diamonds in the WorldThe Golden Jubilee (545.67 ct) and Cullinan I (530.20 ct) form a clear top pair, separated by just 15 carats and both far ahead of the rest. A large gap of over 100 carats then drops to the Incomparable (407.48 ct), after which the field descends steadily through the Cullinan II (317.40 ct), Spirit de Grisogono (312.24 ct) and the modern Graff Lesedi La Rona (302.37 ct). Most of these stones trace back to southern African mines, and several - the two Cullinans, Golden Jubilee - came from the same Premier/Cullinan mine in South Africa, underscoring how a handful of exceptional deposits account for nearly every record-size polished diamond in existence.
