About This Dataset

Countries ranked by internet users (% of population) in 2022, using World Bank figures for the 182 countries that reported that year. 3 countries share the top place on 100.0, among them Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, ahead of Kuwait (99.7). The share of people who used the internet from any location in the last three months, collected by national household surveys. Countries survey in different years and word the question differently, so small gaps between neighbours are not meaningful.
