Countries ranked by homicides (per 100,000 people) in 2023, using World Bank figures for the 83 countries that reported that year. Saint Kitts and Nevis leads on 64.16, ahead of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (51.32) and Jamaica (49.44). Intentional homicides per 100,000 people, taken from criminal justice or public health records. Countries count differently - some record every death investigated as a homicide, others only convictions - and several of the worst-affected countries report late or not at all.
