Countries with the Most Children per Woman 2024
About This Dataset
Countries with the Most Children per Woman 2024
Countries ranked by births per woman in 2024, using World Bank figures for the 217 countries that reported that year. Chad leads on 6.03, ahead of Somalia, Fed. Rep. (6.01) and DR Congo (5.98). The total fertility rate is the number of children a woman would have if she lived through her childbearing years at the birth rates recorded in that year. It is a snapshot of one year, not a count of the children women have actually had.
