CAF Champions League Titles by Club
This chart ranks clubs by titles won in Africa's premier club competition, covering the African Cup of Champions Clubs and its successor, the CAF Champions League.
About This Dataset
CAF Champions League Titles by ClubAl Ahly of Egypt lead with 12 titles, more than double any other club and the most dominant record in any continental club competition outside Real Madrid's in Europe. Zamalek, also of Cairo, and DR Congo's TP Mazembe follow on five each, meaning the two Cairo clubs alone hold 17 titles. North African clubs fill most of the top ten, with Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco represented through Al Ahly, Zamalek, ES Tunis, Wydad AC and Raja CA. The historical entries are striking: Guinea's Hafia FC and Cameroon's Canon Yaounde both won three in the 1970s and 1980s, an era when West and Central African clubs competed at the top before North African money took over.
