About This Dataset
Cloud Infrastructure Market Share WorldwideAmazon Web Services remains the clear leader in cloud infrastructure with about 32 percent of the global market, ahead of Microsoft Azure at 20 percent and Google Cloud at 13 percent. Together these three hyperscalers control roughly two-thirds of all cloud infrastructure spending, a concentration that has defined the industry for years. While AWS still leads on total share, Canalys reported that Azure and Google Cloud both grew more than 30 percent year on year in this quarter, faster than AWS, as demand surged from artificial-intelligence workloads and renewed migrations of legacy systems. The remaining third of the market is split among many smaller providers, including Alibaba Cloud and others, none of which individually approaches the scale of the big three, underlining how dominant the leading American cloud platforms have become.
