The top ten is dominated by United States hubs, which take four of the ten places led by Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver and Chicago O'Hare. Dubai stands out as the leading non-US airport, while Tokyo Haneda (85.9M) and London Heathrow (83.88M) anchor Asia and Europe. Below the top two the field is tightly clustered: from Dallas-Fort Worth (87.82M) down to Shanghai Pudong (76.79M) the airports are separated by only about 11 million passengers, showing how closely matched the world's largest hubs have become.
