Countries ranked by total public electric vehicle charging points installed in 2024, measured in thousands according to IEA Global EV Outlook data. China has built the world's largest EV charging infrastructure by an extraordinary margin, with nearly 10 million public charging points — more than all other countries combined — driven by coordinated national policy, state investment, and the world's largest electric vehicle market.
Analysis
