Busiest Airports by Cargo Traffic 2025
Total freight and mail handled in 2025, in metric tonnes, counting loaded and unloaded cargo and transit freight counted once. Because transfer freight counts wherever it touches down, hub airports used mainly for sorting rank far above the size of the cities they sit in.
Analysis
Hong Kong International Airport handled 5,070,256 tonnes in 2025, 1.24 times the 4,096,016 tonnes of Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
