Countries ranked by remittances received (% of GDP) in 2025, using World Bank figures for the 94 countries that reported that year. Tajikistan leads on 57.66, ahead of Honduras (30.12) and El Salvador (27.51). Money sent home by workers abroad, measured against the size of the receiving economy. Only transfers through recorded channels are counted, so the true flow into cash economies is higher.
