Countries ranked by female labour force participation (%) in 2025, using World Bank figures for the 182 countries that reported that year. Madagascar leads on 82.91, ahead of Solomon Islands (82.34) and Nigeria (80.70). The share of women aged 15 and over who are working or looking for work, modelled by the ILO. Subsistence farming counts as employment, which lifts several low-income countries to the top.
