Electricity generated by wind turbines worldwide in each year from 2000 to 2025, in terawatt-hours, from Ember Yearly Electricity Data. The series covers onshore and offshore wind together and reports generation actually delivered, which depends both on installed capacity and on how windy each year turned out to be.
