About This Dataset
CONCACAF Gold Cup Titles by CountryMexico lead with 10 titles and the United States follow with seven, but the real story is what is absent: in the competition's entire history only three nations have ever won it. Canada's single title, won in 2000, is the sole exception to the Mexico and United States duopoly, and it remains one of the biggest surprises in the region's football. This makes the Gold Cup the most closed major continental tournament in the world, far narrower than the Asian Cup with nine winners or the Africa Cup of Nations with eleven. Mexico's 10 include victories spread evenly from 1993 through to 2025, showing sustained rather than concentrated dominance.
