UEFA Cup and Europa League Titles by Club
This chart ranks clubs by titles won in Europe's second-tier club competition, known as the UEFA Cup from 1971 and rebranded as the UEFA Europa League in 2009. Both eras are combined.
About This Dataset
UEFA Cup and Europa League Titles by ClubSevilla stand alone with seven titles, more than double any other club, and like Independiente in South America they have never lost a final in this competition, winning all seven. Their dominance is remarkable given they have never won the Champions League, making them the clearest example of a club defined by a single trophy. Inter Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Juventus and Atletico Madrid follow on three each. The competition rewards a broader range of clubs than the Champions League: IFK Goteborg's two titles are the only European trophies ever won by a Swedish club, and Eintracht Frankfurt and Feyenoord also hold two. Real Madrid's two are their least successful European campaign.
